Bunny: v1.0.0 [GA] Release

Well, after four years Bunny has finally come of age – v1.0.0 is here! Many thanks to Michael Klishin and the other contributors who have honed Bunny into a lean, mean, Ruby AMQP client. I’m grateful that some really smart people have invested their energies in taking Bunny from a messaging hobby project to a production grade offering.

When I started the project, I never thought that it would reach this level of performance and functionality. However, if any more proof was needed concerning the efficacy of open source software development, then I hope that Bunny would provide quite a good example.

You can see a full list of changes in the Change Log on GitHub.

Your input is important to us, so please give it a try and let us know if anything doesn’t work for you. You can also let us know what works well if you like.

gem install bunny

will get you the latest stable release and you can post your comments to the Google Group.
